PRP hair treatment uses platelet-rich plasma prepared from your own blood and introduced into selected areas of the scalp. It is designed to support scalp health and stimulate existing hair follicles in suitable patients experiencing early hair thinning. PRP cannot create new hair follicles where follicles are no longer present. A medical assessment may be recommended where the cause of hair loss is unclear.
